The Ma Petite Planète and Ma Petite Planète Scolaire mobile applications, available on the App Store and Google Play, are among the services offered by the Ma Petite Planète association. These applications aim to provide users with the best possible gaming experience in furtherance of the association’s mission. Client Areas are reserved exclusively for our clients. They provide support tools enabling clients to manage participation in the game with their participants.
3. DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICES PROVIDED.
The purpose of the Ma Petite Planète Site is to provide information concerning all of the association’s activities.
Clément Debosque endeavors to provide information on the Ma Petite Planète Site that is as accurate as possible. However, he shall not be held liable for any omissions, inaccuracies, or failures to update such information, whether caused by him or by third-party partners providing such information.
All information provided on the Ma Petite Planète Site is given for informational purposes only and is subject to change. Furthermore, the information appearing on the Site is not exhaustive and is provided subject to modifications having been made since it was first published online.
The mobile applications are intended to enable participation in the Ma Petite Planète and Ma Petite Planète Scolaire challenges.
- Ma Petite Planète
- Game principle: Users have three (3) weeks to complete, at their own pace and according to their preferences, as many challenges as possible that have a positive environmental impact (collective, boost, hidden, flash), while avoiding penalties (“malus”) as much as possible. When a user validates points within the application, they earn points individually, contribute points to their team, and contribute to their league’s overall score.
- How to validate a challenge? To validate a challenge, participants must, where specified, submit proof within a league conversation (photo, text, screenshot). These league conversations take place outside the application, and the choice of communication tool is determined by agreement among participants within the same league. Ma Petite Planète does not have access to these league conversations and therefore does not have access to their content.
Game phases:
- Registration: The user enters the personal data required as described in Section 4 in order to create an account and set up their profile.
- Game period: Users are grouped into common three-week editions (unless otherwise specified) and see their score evolve based on their environmental actions as individuals, as teams, and as leagues. Performance results are recorded in the edition’s general ranking — identified by the user’s in-game alias and their league name — and are accessible to all users, unless the user explicitly requests otherwise.
- End of an edition: The edition’s general ranking is finalized after the official end date. A symbolic prize-giving ceremony is organized by the association.
- Ma Petite Planète School
- Game principle: MPP Scolaire is a three-week game played between classmates. Users have three weeks to complete, at their own pace and according to their preferences, as many challenges as possible that have a positive environmental impact. When a user completes a challenge and their points are validated within the application, they earn individual points, contribute points to their team, and contribute to their class’s overall score.
- How to validate a challenge: To validate a challenge, students must, where specified, send proof to the designated adult supervisor within a class conversation (photo, text, screenshot). These class conversations take place outside the application, and the choice of communication tool is determined by the adult supervisor. Ma Petite Planète does not have access to these class or league conversations and therefore does not have access to their content.
Game phases:
- Registration: The designated adult supervisor enters the personal data required as described in Section 4 in order to create an account and configure their profile. The adult supervisor enters each student’s first name on the platform so that challenges may be validated in their name.
- Game period: Users are grouped into common three-week editions (unless otherwise specified) and see their score evolve based on their environmental actions as a team, as a class, and as an institution. Performance results are recorded in the edition’s general ranking — identified by the class name — and are accessible to all users, unless explicitly requested otherwise.
- End of an edition: The edition’s general ranking is finalized after the official end date. A symbolic prize-giving ceremony is organized by the association.
The Client Area is an additional support tool for companies, public authorities, schools, and more broadly any organization wishing to involve its employees, classes, or community in the game. Access credentials are provided to the client prior to the edition and are restricted exclusively to that client.
